The Wavos' 4th EP, "Five on the Floor!", was released on July 5, 2021. Veterans of '80s new wave, '90s metal and '00s electropop, The Wavos bring a multitude of influences, from new wave / powerpop to funk, electro-pop, country flavor, and even some latin rhythms.

During the pandemic, The Wavos came up with a new way to record their parts for the songs on "Five on the Floor!". With Joe living in Myrtle beach, and Tone and Gordon both living in New York City, they've had a lot of success using internet software like JamKazam to rehearse remotely for live shows. Now they're also using JamKazam to record Joe and Gordon singing together, while recording other vocals and instrument tracks in their own time using GarageBand (Joe) and Pro Tools (Gordon and Tone). The tracks are collected in Dropbox, and Gordon mixes them and produces the songs in Pro Tools. They love working this way, it's a keeper!
